Each year, you are encouraged to take part in a movement that was organized by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature). It is known simply as Earth Hour and encourages individuals, businesses, communities, and more to turn off their lights for one hour. Most often it is held at the end of March, usually between 8:30 and 9:30pm. To take part in the event, you simply turn off the lights that you really do not need for the hour.
Overall, more than 187 countries and territories take part in this yearly event. It includes more than 7,000 cities. Will you add your town or your city to the list? It only takes an hour out of your night, but it can preserve electricity and some natural resources while, especially in major cities such as Moscow.
